book six: The Mirror Universe

The Iron demon is revealed in the mirror…

HAVING ESCAPED THE invasion of Aha Domain by General Mora’s android army, Sir Rowan Berry Longbow flees to the northwest to search for Specialist Samarit Longbow, whom he believes is at Mudredd Vale, the enemy reptilians’ abandoned military-industrial complex, where she is on a mission with her crew to restore and retrieve a second dragon ship. A mysterious clue in a cave where he had last seen her is not deciphered before he is kidnapped by an old rogue warrior with the “morals of a bonobo,” and our hero’s fighter plane is hijacked and detoured to Egress, or Node One Base, in the Mountains of the West.

His new enemy sticks to his side like a burr, and creates havoc at the timeship station. Sir Rowan is under the sentence of death for a brutal crime. Further losses of friends, family and country force him to join the mercenary Red Hands.

Exiled for a second time, a new enemy appears, a lonely giantess, the last of her species, but he meets an unexpected old friend in a foreign land. Yet all is lost to another murder. Eorthe is doomed by a comet some call the Warhammer, although the means to survive and thrive is offered by the queendom’s conqueror. Will Sir Rowan accept the consolation prize or will he take the higher path?

The Mirror Universe is book three of the second trilogy, book six in The Stars Hereafter Chronicles, a legend of courage, love, romance, mysticism and enlightenment as the dark past of a reluctant hero enables power but leads to increasingly dangerous crossroads on Eorthe and beyond.
